
07 Oct Train the Trainers in Lecce
From 1 to 4 September 2025, the Out-door project organized an intensive and inspiring Train the Trainers (TtT) activity in Lecce, Italy.
During this event, hosted by the University of Salento (Italy), professionals from the partner organisations, including Lodz University of Technology (Poland), University of Vigo (Spain), Kaunas University of Technology (Lithuania), the University of the Azores (Portugal), FEMXA (Spain), and the host institution itself, explored how trainers will implement the theoretical modules developed to foster soft skills among university students.
The sessions focused on key competencies for students’ future employability, including:
- Learning to learn and critical thinking
- Communication, empathy, and teamwork
- Growth mindset and innovation
- Digital safety
- Action for sustainability
- Outdoor learning in urban and natural environments
This activity was a key step in preparing professionals to implement the pilot phase with students in their respective institutions. By experiencing the modules firsthand, participants became familiar with the contents and methodologies that will be used with students to foster their employability.
